Every tree planted today is an investment in the future—a future with cleaner air, healthier communities, and greater access to natural sources of nourishment.
As part of our Green Development Initiative, our dedicated team member, Ms. Shanthi, District Program Coordinator (DPC), planted saplings at the Corporation Office and the nearby garden area in Nagapattinam District, Tamil Nadu, after obtaining the necessary permission from the concerned authorities.
The saplings were planted at carefully selected locations to support their long-term growth and contribute to creating a greener and healthier environment for the community.
Trees are much more than a source of greenery. They play an important role in supporting nutrition, food security, and environmental sustainability.
Fruit-bearing and native trees can provide natural and sustainable sources of food for generations. By encouraging the planting and nurturing of such trees, communities can create spaces that contribute to better nutrition while strengthening their connection with nature.
A tree planted today may provide fruit and nourishment tomorrow. It can also offer shade, support biodiversity, improve the local environment, and contribute to a healthier community.
This initiative reflects the power of collaboration between communities, local authorities, and individuals committed to creating positive change.

आज लगाया गया हर एक पेड़ भविष्य में किया गया एक निवेश है—ऐसा भविष्य जहाँ स्वच्छ हवा, स्वस्थ समुदाय और प्राकृतिक पोषण के बेहतर अवसर उपलब्ध हों।
हमारी हरित विकास पहल के अंतर्गत, हमारी समर्पित टीम सदस्य सुश्री शांति, जिला कार्यक्रम समन्वयक (DPC) ने संबंधित अधिकारियों से आवश्यक अनुमति प्राप्त करने के बाद तमिलनाडु के नागपट्टिनम जिले में कॉर्पोरेशन कार्यालय और आसपास के उद्यान क्षेत्र में पौधारोपण किया।
दीर्घकालिक विकास को ध्यान में रखते हुए पौधों के लिए उचित स्थानों का चयन किया गया, ताकि वे स्वस्थ रूप से विकसित हो सकें और समुदाय के लिए अधिक हरित एवं स्वस्थ वातावरण बनाने में योगदान दे सकें।
पेड़ केवल हरियाली का स्रोत नहीं हैं। वे पोषण, खाद्य सुरक्षा और पर्यावरणीय स्थिरता को बढ़ावा देने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाते हैं।
फलदार और स्थानीय प्रजातियों के पेड़ आने वाली पीढ़ियों के लिए भोजन के प्राकृतिक और टिकाऊ स्रोत प्रदान कर सकते हैं। ऐसे पेड़ों को लगाने और उनकी देखभाल के लिए समुदायों को प्रोत्साहित करके हम बेहतर पोषण के साथ-साथ प्रकृति के प्रति उनके जुड़ाव को भी मजबूत कर सकते हैं।

लेकिन यह यात्रा यहीं समाप्त नहीं होती।
