Engaging Communities and Corporations to Fight Hunger and Promote Sustainability

At Aahvaan 2025, WePlant India’s Project Coordinator, Ms. Aastha Maheshwari, took significant strides in promoting sustainable solutions to tackle hunger and malnutrition. By actively engaging with corporations, NGOs, and other organizations, she emphasized the importance of collaboration in driving impactful change.
One of the key initiatives highlighted during the event was the planting of fruit tree seeds in public spaces. This approach not only enhances the greenery of our communities but also ensures long-term nutritional security for people in need, creating a model of sustainability that benefits both the environment and society.
WePlant India believes that partnerships are central to creating lasting impact. Through collective action, the SeedBank and fruit tree initiatives demonstrate how simple, coordinated efforts can contribute to greener, healthier, and hunger-free communities.
🌍 Together, we can cultivate hope, nurture sustainable practices, and empower communities to build a resilient and nourished future.
