Empowering Volunteers and Students to Build a Sustainable, Hunger-Free Future

In a significant step toward promoting environmental sustainability and food security, WePlant India recently collaborated with Kamla Nehru College to conduct a SeedBank Initiation Orientation. The session, led by Dr. Santosh George, Founder of WePlant India Trust, highlighted the transformative power of saving seeds and the role of motivated volunteers in the fight against malnutrition and hunger.
The orientation served as a source of inspiration for students and participants, encouraging them to take proactive steps toward building a sustainable future. By fostering awareness, commitment, and hands-on engagement, the initiative empowers individuals to contribute meaningfully to a greener, healthier India. 🌿🌎
Participants learned the importance of SeedBanking, understanding how collecting, preserving, and sowing seeds can directly support nutritional security, environmental conservation, and community well-being. The session also emphasized the need for volunteer involvement, highlighting how collective action can magnify impact and sustain long-term change.
Through initiatives like this, WePlant India is creating a movement of conscious citizens who are equipped and motivated to nurture the environment, combat hunger, and promote access to nutritious food for all.
🌾💚 Join us in this mission! Together, we can sow the seeds of change, grow resilient communities, and ensure a healthier, sustainable future—one seed at a time.
