Empowering Students to Drive Sustainability, Food Security, and Community Well-Being

WePLANT India, in collaboration with Miranda House College's SDG Club and Bharat Soka Gakkai, proudly launched a transformative SeedBank Initiative at the University of Delhi. This initiative is a significant step toward fostering environmental sustainability, ensuring food security, and empowering communities to combat hunger and malnutrition.
The event featured an inspiring talk by Dr. Santosh G, Founder of WePLANT India Trust, who highlighted the vital role of seed preservation in building a sustainable future. He encouraged students to actively participate in the mission by contributing to the goal of planting 1,000 trees, symbolizing hope, growth, and collective action.
Students from various colleges across Delhi University enthusiastically engaged in discussions about the SeedBank and Kitchen Garden Initiatives. They learned how these programs can enhance nutrition, promote community well-being, and instill a sense of responsibility toward nature and society.
By combining education, collaboration, and action, WePLANT India aims to create a greener, healthier future where sustainability becomes a way of life. Initiatives like these empower young minds to take concrete steps toward food security, environmental conservation, and social responsibility.
🌱 Every seed planted today has the potential to change the world. Join WePLANT India in nurturing nature, promoting sustainability, and cultivating a future where communities and the environment thrive together.
