Empowering children to discover the power of seeds, sustainability, and small actions that shape a brighter planet.
At Government Senior Secondary School, Kota, the spirit of sustainability flourished as 90 enthusiastic students participated in a meaningful session led by Priyanka, a dedicated volunteer under the “We Plant” initiative.
The session focused on creating awareness about the Seed Bank concept — teaching children how preserving native seeds can protect biodiversity, ensure food security, and strengthen local ecosystems. Students learned that seeds are not just the beginning of plants but the foundation of life itself. 🌾
Through hands-on activities, the young participants:
🌱 Collected native seeds, understanding their unique role in preserving local flora.
🌿 Experienced the joy of sowing, connecting with nature in a deeply personal way.
🍃 Learned how simple actions can nurture a greener, more sustainable future.
The energy and excitement of the students transformed the school grounds into a hub of environmental learning. Each seed planted symbolized hope, responsibility, and growth — values that will continue to bloom in their lives and communities.
As Priyanka shared stories of how small, mindful actions can lead to larger change, the students realized that sustainability begins with awareness — and grows through action.
Together, we are cultivating not only plants but also guardians of nature — young changemakers who will lead the way toward a cleaner, greener tomorrow.
