Empowering Young Minds to Build a Greener and Healthier Future

On 31st July 2025, a meaningful plantation drive took place at Zilla Parishad High School, Parbhani, Maharashtra, under the inspiring #WePlant initiative. The event reflected the collective spirit of teachers and students, united by a shared commitment to protect the environment and promote community well-being.
During the event:
30 tamarind seeds and 20 papaya seeds were planted with care and enthusiasm.
A Seed Bank was established to encourage biodiversity conservation and food sustainability.
A short awareness session was held, highlighting how planting fruit-bearing trees can help reduce hunger and malnutrition in local communities.
The day wasn’t just about planting seeds—it was about planting ideas of hope, responsibility, and resilience in young hearts. By engaging students in such hands-on green activities, the #WePlant movement continues to cultivate eco-consciousness and inspire sustainable living practices across schools in India.
When children learn to nurture the earth, they also learn to nourish the future. Each seed sown becomes a promise—for a greener planet and a healthier tomorrow. 🌿
