Greening Koge: A Step Towards a Sustainable Tomorrow

October 23, 2025

A meaningful plantation program was conducted at Kumar Vidyamandir, Koge, Maharashtra, under the We Plant initiative, symbolising hope, sustainability, and collective responsibility. ๐ŸŒฑ

The event was graced by the presence of several respected community leaders โ€” the Chairman of Kumbhi Kasari Sahakari Sakhar Karkhana, the Sarpanch of Koge Village, Mr. Krushnat Fadtare, H.M. Ekshingi, and school management representative Mr. Yuvraj Patil. Their active participation and support reinforced the shared vision of creating a greener and healthier environment for future generations. ๐ŸŒฟ

Students, teachers, and villagers came together to plant saplings, learn about biodiversity, and understand how local plantation efforts can contribute to reducing hunger, malnutrition, and climate challenges. Every sapling planted was a symbol of growth โ€” for the earth, the community, and the generations to come. ๐ŸŒŽ๐Ÿ’š

This initiative stands as a reminder that true development begins when we nurture the roots of our environment. Together, we are not only growing trees but also cultivating awareness, compassion, and resilience for a sustainable future.
