From Seeds to Sustainability: Children Lead the Fight Against Malnutrition

In the hills of Uttarakhand, young students are learning that a better tomorrow begins with a single seed. 🌱 Through the We Plant initiative, children at Primary School, Gopal Dhara, and Anganwadi Kendra, Dharanaula, came together for a joyful and educational seed collection drive.
Guided by their teachers, 25 enthusiastic students explored the concept of Nutrition Forests, learning how fruit tree planting and seed saving can help fight malnutrition and hunger in their communities. The activity blended hands-on learning with a sense of environmental responsibility, helping students see the direct link between nature, nutrition, and well-being. 🌿✨
Each seed collected represents hope — a promise of nourishment, sustainability, and care for the planet. The initiative has not only planted trees but also inspired young eco-warriors to nurture the earth and carry forward the message of a greener, healthier future.
