Empowering ASHA Workers Through Awareness and Action in Jodhpur

November 27, 2025

Our mission toward a healthier, nourished India grows stronger when knowledge reaches the people who serve at the very heart of communities. In line with this vision, our Senior Program Coordinator, Ms. Ranjana Dickenson, conducted an impactful awareness session at Shahri Samudayik Swasthya Kendra, Residency, Jodhpur, Rajasthan.

The session brought together 15 dedicated ASHA workers, who play a vital role in child health, maternal care, and community wellbeing. Their enthusiasm, questions, and active involvement made the learning experience deeply meaningful. 🌿✨

During the session, Ms. Ranjana discussed:
🌱 The realities of malnutrition and hunger faced by children across communities
🌱 Why early identification and intervention are essential for healthy development
🌱 How simple, nutrition-focused practices can transform household health
🌱 The role of awareness and local action in preventing long-term health issues

ASHA workers are often the first point of contact for vulnerable families. Strengthening their knowledge and confidence helps ensure that every child receives the nutrition, care, and support needed to grow, learn, and thrive.

This session marks an important step in We Plant’s continuing effort to build informed, empowered communities that can identify health gaps early and address them effectively.

Together, we are nurturing change β€” one session, one worker, and one family at a time. πŸŒπŸ’š
