Growing a Healthier Future: New Seed Bank Established in Wardha

October 7, 2026

Empowering Communities Through Native Seeds, Nutrition, and Sustainable Food Systems

A healthier future begins with the seeds we protect and the communities we empower. In a proud milestone for Wardha, our team, in collaboration with Z.P. Primary School, Inzapur, successfully established a new Seed Bank, led by our dedicated team member Ms. Rutuja.

The initiative marks an important step towards preserving native seeds and strengthening community access to nutritious, locally available food. By conserving and promoting native varieties, Seed Banks can help communities build more resilient and sustainable food systems while supporting efforts to address malnutrition and hunger.

Growing Nutrition from the Ground Up

Native seeds are an important resource for communities. Preserving them helps safeguard local agricultural diversity while creating opportunities to grow nutrient-rich food closer to home.

The newly established Seed Bank at Z.P. Primary School, Inzapur, also creates an opportunity to engage young students with the importance of seeds, nutrition, agriculture, and environmental sustainability. By involving children in such initiatives, we can nurture a generation that understands the connection between healthy soil, nutritious food, and healthy communities.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the respected Principal, dedicated school staff, and enthusiastic students for their warm support and participation in making this initiative possible.

Planting Seeds for Tomorrow

A Seed Bank is more than a place to preserve seeds—it is a step towards protecting food security, strengthening communities, and nurturing sustainable livelihoods.

Together, we are empowering future generations to nourish both the soil and their communities, one seed at a time. 🌱
