Children Lead the Way Toward a Sustainable and Hunger-Free Future

On 30th July 2025, an inspiring Seed Sowing Activity took place at the Zilla Parishad High School and two Anganwadis in Pedgaon village, Maharashtra, under the transformative #WePlant initiative.
With the enthusiastic participation of teachers and students, the community came together to plant 30 tamarind seeds and 10 papaya seeds—symbolising hope, health, and environmental responsibility. 🌳🥭
This green initiative goes beyond planting trees; it’s a movement dedicated to reducing hunger and malnutrition by cultivating nutritious, fruit-bearing trees that nourish both people and the planet.
What made this event truly special was the leadership of young children, who took charge with excitement and purpose—showing that the next generation is ready to protect the Earth and shape a sustainable future. 💪🌍
Each seed sown in Pedgaon represents a promise of growth, a commitment to change, and a step toward a greener, healthier tomorrow. Together, we plant not just trees, but hope for generations to come.
