A greener environment can lay the foundation for a healthier and more resilient community. With this vision, our team organized an impactful plantation drive in Rangapara village, Asansol, West Bengal, led by our dedicated District Project Coordinator (DPC), Ms. Adlin Dadel.
The initiative brought together enthusiastic local residents to plant papaya saplings, creating an opportunity to strengthen green cover while supporting long-term household nutrition. By encouraging communities to grow nutritious fruit-bearing plants, such initiatives can contribute to efforts aimed at reducing hunger and malnutrition.
Every sapling planted represents more than a contribution to the environment. Fruit-bearing trees can support household access to nutritious food while also contributing to greener surroundings and more sustainable community practices.
Community participation remains at the heart of such initiatives. The enthusiastic involvement of local residents demonstrated the power of collective action in creating positive and lasting change.
Planting trees today is an investment in community health, climate resilience, environmental sustainability, and sustainable livelihoods for tomorrow.
We proudly appreciate the dedication of Ms. Adlin Dadel and the entire team, along with the residents of Rangapara village, whose enthusiasm and participation helped make this plantation drive a meaningful success.
Together, by planting today, we can nurture healthier communities and a greener tomorrow. 🌱
