Building a greener future begins with small but meaningful actions. At Children in India, we are taking another step towards nurturing a culture of planting, preserving, and protecting our natural resources by empowering schools and communities to become active stewards of the environment.
As part of this effort, our team member, Ms. Sara Joseph, District Coordinator, Almora, successfully conducted the 3rd School Plantation Drive and established a We Plant Seed Bank at Phalseema.
The initiative was strengthened through the valuable support of Ms. Janki Bisht, whose contribution and collaboration helped make this meaningful effort possible. We sincerely thank her for joining hands with us in promoting environmental awareness and sustainability among children and communities.
Growing More Than Trees
A seed represents more than the beginning of a plant. It carries the potential for food, biodiversity, sustainability, and a healthier future.
By engaging schools in plantation drives and seed banks, we can help children understand the importance of seeds, trees, biodiversity, and environmental responsibility.
