Empowering students and teachers to grow local food and fight malnutrition through knowledge and action π±π

Under the We Plant initiative, a meaningful step was taken in Maharashtra as our team member successfully established a Seed Bank at a local school and conducted a short yet impactful awareness session for students and teachers. πΎβ¨
The session focused on the importance of nutrition, the value of growing local food, and how Seed Banks can support communities in building long-term food security. Students learned how saving and sowing seeds can help reduce malnutrition and hunger, while also protecting biodiversity and encouraging sustainable living practices.
By combining practical action with awareness and learning, this initiative empowers young minds to understand their role in shaping a healthier future. When children and educators actively participate in seed saving and planting, schools become centers of change that influence families and communities beyond their boundaries. πΏπ
Through efforts like these, We Plant continues to nurture responsibility, resilience, and hope.
Together, we are planting seeds of knowledge, nutrition, and sustainability β one school and one child at a time. π±π
