Empowering young minds through sustainability, nutrition, and community-driven change

In a significant step toward building healthier and more sustainable communities, we are proud to share that our dedicated team member, Anjali Burnwal, SDPO from Dehradun, successfully established the fifth Seed Bank at Village Bhuluda Primary School.
This initiative was carried out under the valuable guidance and support of Sara from Almora, reflecting the power of collaboration in driving meaningful grassroots impact.
The establishment of Seed Banks is more than just an environmental effort—it is a purposeful move toward addressing malnutrition and hunger. By promoting nutrition awareness, sustainable food practices, and the importance of seed conservation, this initiative empowers children with knowledge that goes far beyond the classroom. It introduces them to kitchen gardening, self-sufficiency, and the value of accessing healthy, nutritious food.
Through these Seed Banks, we are not only preserving native and indigenous seeds but also cultivating a sense of responsibility, environmental awareness, and community participation among young learners. These small yet impactful steps are helping shape a generation that understands the importance of sustainability and food security.
Every seed planted today carries the promise of a healthier, greener, and more inclusive tomorrow. 🌿✨
Together, we continue to inspire change—one school, one village, and one seed at a time.
