A major milestone that expands the reach of environmental education, food security, and community action π±π

A significant milestone has been achieved for the We Plant initiative in Sabarkantha district, Gujarat, marking an important step toward expanding our impact at the grassroots level. Today, our District Program Coordinator (DPC), Ms. Sonal, formally submitted a permission request to the District Education Officer and successfully received the official approval letter.
With this approval, We Plant is now authorised to work across all schools in the Sabarkantha district, opening new opportunities to engage students, teachers, and communities in initiatives focused on environmental stewardship, food security, and sustainable living. This development will allow the initiative to scale its activities such as seed banks, plantation drives, nutrition awareness, and community engagement more effectively. πΏβ¨
This achievement reflects the dedication, perseverance, and leadership of DPC Sonal, whose efforts have strengthened the foundation for long-term impact. School-based initiatives play a crucial role in nurturing awareness among young minds, encouraging responsible action, and building solutions to challenges such as malnutrition and hunger.
As We Plant continues to grow, this district-wide approval brings us closer to our vision of greener schools, healthier children, and resilient communities. It marks the beginning of a broader collaboration that will help sow seeds of awareness, sustainability, and hope across Sabarkantha. π±π
Congratulations to Ms. Sonal on this remarkable achievement and for advancing the mission of We Plant with commitment and purpose.
